A memory-handling flaw in Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 Apps allows context-dependent attackers to execute code via a crafted file. The Access Connectivity Engine improperly handles objects in memory, but Microsoft has not disclosed the responsible parser, object type, or invalid memory operation. Exploitation requires a user to open the file, after which code runs with that user's privileges and can fully affect the local system.
