Memory disclosure via improper media object handling

Information disclosure in Microsoft Media Foundation on affected Windows releases allows local users to read memory via crafted media. Microsoft states only that Media Foundation improperly handles objects in memory and has not disclosed the faulty operation. Exploitation requires a user to open crafted content; the reported consequence is confidentiality loss without data modification or service interruption.
