Denial of service in Microsoft Hyper-V on affected Windows releases allows remote attackers to interrupt the host via crafted network packets. Microsoft identifies the locus only as Hyper-V network-packet handling and has not published the specific parsing or validation error. An unauthenticated network path to a Hyper-V host is sufficient; the reported consequence is an availability interruption without data access or modification.
