Remote code execution in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and NAV allows remote authenticated users to run arbitrary shell commands. A Role-Tailored Client call to a permitted feature supplies dataset structure data that is deserialized in a way that starts attacker-supplied shell commands. Exploitation requires permission to access the affected feature and user interaction, and successful execution runs commands in the affected application context.
