Script execution via unencoded source snippets

Cross-site scripting in Microsoft Application Inspector 1.0.23 and earlier allows attackers to execute script via a crafted source file. The HTML report generator inserts example strings from analyzed third-party source into its output without HTML encoding, so browser-active markup remains executable. Exploitation requires a user to analyze the malicious source and view the generated report; the script can read report contents, including source snippets, and send them to an external server.
