Memory disclosure via unowned eval-cache buffers

Information disclosure in Microsoft Edge Legacy and ChakraCore allows remote attackers to read process memory through crafted eval input. The eval cache retained a character-buffer pointer without retaining its owning object, allowing host-supplied buffers to outlive their backing storage. Exploitation requires prior knowledge of the memory address where the object was created, and the disclosed memory can support further compromise of the computer or its data.
