Elevation of privilege in Microsoft Diagnostics Hub Standard Collector allows local users to control systems through arbitrary file creation. The Diagnostics Hub Standard Collector and Visual Studio Standard Collector accept attacker-chosen paths and create files outside permitted locations. A user must first log on and run a specially crafted application; successful exploitation grants control of the affected system.
