Unauthenticated service interruption via crafted web requests
Published Jan 14, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Denial of service in Microsoft ASP.NET Core 2.1, 3.0, and 3.1 allows remote attackers to interrupt web applications via crafted requests. Microsoft has not published the request-processing locus or malformed input condition that triggers the failure. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is limited to denial of service against the targeted application.
