Uncontrolled search path in Intel Binary Configuration Tool for Windows all versions allows local users to elevate privileges through its installer. The installer searches an uncontrolled path, but Intel has not disclosed the searched component, directory order, or attacker-controlled filename. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access, user interaction, and a high-complexity condition, after which attacker-controlled code gains elevated privileges.
