Improper access control in Intel Smart Sound Technology allows local users to escalate privileges through the audio subsystem. Intel has not published the affected subsystem interface or the access-control operation that mishandles a local request. The required user interaction and local execution can cross a security boundary and compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
