Information disclosure in Intel(R) Processors Load Value Injection allows local authenticated users to infer data through a speculative-execution side channel. Faulting, assisting, or aborting loads can transiently forward attacker-selected microarchitectural buffer data into dependent operations that emit a covert-channel signal. The attack requires local authenticated execution and complex control over victim code; Intel identifies malicious operating systems or virtual-machine managers attacking SGX enclaves as the primary realistic scenario, with confidentiality impact and no integrity or availability effect.
