CVE-2020-0537Network attack vector

Service interruption via improperly validated network input

Published Jun 15, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Improper input validation in Intel AMT before 11.8.77, 11.12.77, 11.22.77, and 12.0.64 allows privileged users to interrupt service. The firmware passes network input to an undisclosed subsystem without proper validation; Intel has not identified the input, code locus, or resulting failure mode. Administrative AMT privileges and network reachability are required, and exploitation affects availability without reported data disclosure or modification.
