Out-of-bounds read in Android 8.0 and 8.1 Media framework allows local users to disclose data from a privileged process. The IHDCP.cpp onTransact handler mishandles decrypt errors and returns uninitialized data beyond the intended buffer. Low-privileged local access is required; exploitation needs no additional execution privileges or user interaction and affects confidentiality only.
