CVE-2020-0091

Sensitive-data disclosure via meta-mode misconfiguration

Published May 14, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Information disclosure in MediaTek Navigation Library Daemon for Android SoC allows local users to access sensitive data through mnld. The driver_cfg logic incorrectly configures mnld while the device is in meta factory mode; the published records do not disclose the faulty setting or data path. Exploitation requires low-privilege local access and affects confidentiality only, with no reported ability to modify data or interrupt the device.
