Local privilege escalation via NFC message underflow

Out-of-bounds write in the Android 10 NFC server allows local users to escalate privileges via a crafted NFC message. The nfa_hciu_send_msg function in nfa_hci_utils.cc subtracts an unvalidated message length, permitting an integer underflow before an out-of-bounds buffer write. Exploitation requires local System execution privileges, needs no user interaction, and can compromise the NFC server process.
