Heap buffer overflow in Android 8.0 through 10 allows remote attackers to execute code in a privileged process via a crafted H.264 file. ih264d_release_display_bufs in ih264d_utils.c writes beyond a heap buffer while releasing display buffers for attacker-controlled media. Exploitation requires user interaction to process the crafted file; successful exploitation can compromise the affected device without additional privileges.
