Local privilege escalation via incorrect Parcel resizing

Use-after-free in Android 8.0, 8.1, 9, and 10 allows local users to escalate privileges through the System component. Parcel::continueWrite shrinks a Parcel's storage without reducing its object-capacity tracking, leaving later code to use freed memory. A malicious local application needs no additional execution privileges or user interaction and can obtain elevated access.
