OS command injection in Vesta Control Panel 0.9.7 through 0.9.8-23 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands as root. The PHP frontend passes user-controlled arguments to privileged shell scripts through exec after incorrectly applying escapeshellarg in several locations. A valid panel account is required; successful injection grants full control of the server and its hosted services.
