Browser-session script execution via crafted prefs.asp URI
Published Jan 3, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in prefs.asp in Telos Automated Message Handling System before 4.1.5.5 allows remote attackers to run script in AMHS sessions. The page places input from a specially crafted AMHS URI into generated HTML without neutralizing script content. Execution requires a user to open the crafted URI, and the injected code runs in that user's browser session, enabling access to or modification of session-visible data.
