Session script execution via unneutralized upload input
Published Jan 3, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in uploaditem.asp in Telos Automated Message Handling System before 4.1.5.5 allows remote attackers to run script via a crafted URI. The endpoint places attacker-controlled URI input into generated HTML without neutralizing it, causing a browser to execute the injected JavaScript in an AMHS session. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted URI, and the script then operates within that user's session context with bounded data-access and action capabilities.
