Command injection in Vertiv Avocent UMG 4000 4.2.1.19 allows remote authenticated users with administrator accounts to execute commands as root. The web interface fails to neutralize command syntax in client-supplied input before passing it to root-executed commands. An administrator account is required, and successful injection grants complete command execution on the appliance.
