Weak password requirements in the Moxa MGate web application on affected firmware allow remote attackers to gain account access by brute force. The web application's password validation permits account passwords that do not meet sufficient strength requirements, enabling systematic guessing. The attacker must reach the web interface and correctly guess a password; resulting access is limited to the compromised account's privileges.
