CVE-2019-7192Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthorized access via exposed slideshow access codes

Published Dec 5, 2019 · Updated Oct 21, 2025

Authorization bypass in QNAP Photo Station allows remote attackers to obtain an album access code through unauthenticated web requests. The album.php endpoint accepts setSlideshow requests without authentication, and slideshow.php exposes the resulting access code, bypassing the access-code gate. Photo Station must be enabled and reachable; file disclosure and root code execution in published chains also depend on separate vulnerabilities.
