Uncontrolled DLL search in Schneider Electric MSX Configurator before 1.0.8.1 allows local users to gain elevated privileges. The affected executable resolves a library through an uncontrolled search path, allowing a malicious DLL to load instead of the intended library. Exploitation requires local DLL placement and user interaction that starts the application; successful loading runs attacker-controlled code with the application's privileges.
