Stored script execution via traffic-group field

Published Mar 13, 2020 · Updated Oct 25, 2024

Stored XSS in Fortinet FortiADC 5.3.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through a traffic-group field. The traffic-group creation GUI stores a submitted field without neutralizing browser-active content before rendering it in the interface. An authenticated user must save the payload and another user must view the affected GUI content; execution remains within the viewer's browser context.
