Cross-site scripting in Siemens SCALANCE S-600 firmware 3.0 through 4.0 allows remote attackers to execute script through a malicious link. The integrated configuration web server fails to neutralize script-related HTML tags supplied through the crafted link before returning web content to the browser. Exploitation requires a logged-in web-interface user to follow the link, placing the resulting script in that authenticated session's browser context.
