Published Jan 23, 2020 · Updated Oct 25, 2024
Information disclosure in the CLI console in Fortinet FortiOS 6.2.1 and earlier allows local users to obtain plaintext certificate private keys. The console accepts removal of the encryption password for built-in certificate keys or an empty password for uploaded certificate keys without enforcing permission and value constraints. Exploitation requires a non-privileged CLI account and exposes certificate authentication material, without reported integrity or availability impact.
