Administrative command execution via unsanitized input fields
Published Feb 27, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Command injection in Aruba Networks AirWave Management Platform 8.x before 8.2.10.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute host commands. Administrative input fields are passed to AirWave for parsing without proper sanitization, allowing command syntax to reach the host. Administrative privileges are required; successful exploitation grants command execution with the host application's authority.
