CVE-2019-5318Network attack vector

Service interruption via undisclosed cross-site request forgery

Published Sep 7, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Cross-site request forgery in HPE ArubaOS 6.x and before 8.8.0.0 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via crafted web requests. HPE has not disclosed the affected WebUI endpoint or the state-changing operation that lacks CSRF validation. Exploitation requires an authenticated WebUI user to interact with attacker-controlled content; HPE does not specify whether the resulting unavailability is a hang, crash, or reboot.
