Controller firmware downgrade via mismatched WUP metadata

Firmware downgrade in WAGO e!COCKPIT 1.6.1.5 allows attackers to install older controller firmware via a crafted WUP file. The updater trusts Revision and ReleaseIndex values in package-info.xml instead of verifying that they match the signed firmware payload, so an older image is displayed as newer. An authorized user must select the malicious WUP file and initiate the update, after which known flaws in the downgraded controller firmware become reachable.
