Authenticated OS command injection via TimeoutPrepared
Published Mar 10, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Command injection in WAGO PFC200 Firmware 03.02.02(14), 03.01.07(13), and 03.00.39(12) allows remote authenticated users OS command execution. The cloud-connectivity firmware-update handler inserts the untrusted TimeoutPrepared parameter into an operating-system command without adequate neutralization. Exploitation requires an administrative device login and access to the controller, after which commands can read or alter device data and disrupt availability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
