CVE-2019-5155Network attack vector

Authenticated OS command injection via firmware-update parameters

Published Mar 10, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Command injection in WAGO PFC200 Firmware versions 03.02.02(14), 03.01.07(13), and 03.00.39(12) allows remote authenticated users to execute OS commands. The cloud connectivity firmware-update handler inserts attacker-controlled parameter values into operating-system command execution without neutralization. Exploitation requires an authenticated HTTPS request reaching the cloud-connectivity interface and can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the controller.
