CVE-2019-5149Public exploitNetwork attack vector

WBM denial of service via FastCGI worker exhaustion

Published Mar 10, 2020 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Denial of service in WAGO PFC100 and PFC200 firmware allows remote attackers to interrupt WBM access with crafted login requests. The default /etc/lighttpd/mod_fastcgi.conf limits php-cgi to two workers, while oversized login passwords occupy each worker for about 50 seconds. Unauthenticated network access to /wbm/login.php is sufficient, and repeated requests can indefinitely deny legitimate management access; no impact beyond WBM availability is documented.
