Password disclosure via hard-coded XOR key

Hard-coded key use in WAGO e!COCKPIT 1.5.1.1 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to recover login passwords from captured traffic. The authentication code XORs passwords with a fixed 32-byte key and reduces its four-byte challenge to a repeating one-byte perturbation. Access to traffic between the engineering workstation and CODESYS Gateway exposes credentials when a user logs in; no integrity or availability impact is established.
