Credential disclosure via embedded Web UI JavaScript
Published Apr 8, 2020 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Cross-site scripting in IBM DOORS Next Generation 6.0.2, 6.0.6, and 6.0.61 allows remote authenticated users to disclose session credentials. The Web UI renders embedded, user-supplied JavaScript without sufficient neutralization; IBM has not identified the affected field or handler. Exploitation requires low-privileged product access and a separate user to view the crafted interface content, where the script runs in the trusted session.
