DLL search-order hijacking in IBM SDK, Java Technology Edition allows local users to execute arbitrary code on Windows. The Windows client searches a compromised folder for a DLL and loads an attacker-supplied library before the intended dependency; IBM has not disclosed the executable or DLL name. Exploitation requires a local authenticated user to control the searched folder and a user to run the affected client path, with code executing under the client process privileges.
