CVE-2019-4728Network attack vector

Authenticated SYSTEM code execution via unsafe deserialization

Published Jan 5, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024

Deserialization in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges. The product deserializes attacker-controlled data from a specially crafted request, but IBM has not disclosed the request endpoint or serialized object type. An account with network access is required, and successful exploitation grants SYSTEM-level code execution in 5.2.0.0 through 5.2.6.5_2, 6.0.0.0 through 6.0.3.2, and 6.1.0.0.
