Sensitive-information disclosure via missing HSTS enforcement
Published May 11, 2020 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Missing HSTS enforcement in IBM UrbanCode Deploy before 7.0.5.2 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read sensitive information. The server does not properly enable HTTP Strict Transport Security, leaving browsers without a persisted requirement to use HTTPS. Exploitation requires interception of network traffic and provides no reported ability to modify data or interrupt the service.
