Database data manipulation via undisclosed SQL injection
Published Jan 9, 2020 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
SQL injection in IBM Jazz Reporting Service 6.0.6.1 allows remote attackers to read, add, modify, or delete database data. IBM identifies Report Builder as the affected component but has not disclosed the input field, endpoint, or query-building operation that fails to neutralize SQL syntax. No authentication or user interaction is required; crafted input can expose or alter back-end database records, and testing for the behavior can itself change data.
