Session-token disclosure via insecure cookie transport
Published Feb 5, 2020 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Missing cookie transport protection in IBM Cloud Automation Manager 3.2.1.0 allows attackers to obtain session tokens over HTTP. Authorization tokens and session cookies omit the Secure attribute, causing browsers to transmit their values when an HTTP link is requested. Exploitation requires user interaction and an attacker able to observe the adjacent network; the reported impact is session-token disclosure.
