Unauthorized actions via forged trusted-user requests
Published Feb 5, 2020 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in IBM Planning Analytics 2.0 allows remote attackers to perform unauthorized actions through a trusted user. IBM has not published the affected request handler or the precise validation failure that causes a forged request to be accepted. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to interact with attacker-controlled content, and IBM's assessment limits the consequence to unauthorized state changes.
