Local-file disclosure via token-distribution XML entity resolution
Published Jan 3, 2020 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
XXE in token distribution in Dell RSA Authentication Manager through 8.4 P6 allows remote authenticated users to read local files. The token-distribution XML parser resolves attacker-supplied external entity references in a crafted message against files on the appliance. Access to the token-distribution workflow and valid authentication are required; exploitation exposes parser-readable files without reported write or service-interruption impact.
