System impersonation via improper certificate issuance

Certificate-chain validation in Dell Data Protection Central 1.0, 1.0.1, 18.1, 18.2, and 19.1 allows remote attackers to impersonate valid systems. The certificate-issuance path follows an untrusted chain incorrectly and returns a CA-signed certificate accepted as a valid system identity. No credentials or user interaction are required; the resulting certificate enables system impersonation and unauthorized data modification.
