Local root escalation via post-install link following

Symlink following in affected munin packages for openSUSE Factory and Leap 15.1 allows local users with munin access to gain root. The root-run RPM post-install script applies ownership changes to wildcarded log files and recursively owned directories, following attacker-created symbolic or hard links to arbitrary root-owned files. Control of the munin account and a package reinstall are required; exploitation transfers ownership of a chosen privileged file and enables root escalation.
