Incorrect default permissions in SUSE Linux Enterprise Server allow local users to capture network traffic through dumpcap. The permissions package's easy profile grants every local user permission to execute dumpcap when Wireshark is installed. A local session, the easy profile, and Wireshark are required; exploitation exposes packets visible to the host without reported write or service-interruption impact.
