CVE-2019-2725Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated service crashes via WebLogic deserialization

Published Apr 26, 2019 · Updated Oct 1, 2026

Deserialization in Oracle ACSLS 8.5 allows remote attackers to hang or repeatedly crash the service through unauthenticated HTTP requests. When the optional GUI is installed, WebLogic's AsyncResponseBean deserializes attacker-controlled SOAP RelatesTo data without safely restricting object types. The GUI must be installed and reachable; Oracle reports service interruption for ACSLS, not the server takeover described for standalone WebLogic.
