CVE-2019-25719Network attack vector

Alarm tampering and reboot via unauthenticated messages

Published Jun 2, 2026 · Updated Jun 2, 2026

Message-integrity flaws in Dräger Infinity M540 and Infinity Acute Care System VG4.1.1 and earlier allow remote attackers to alter data. Infinity network message handling accepts unauthenticated spoofed or tampered traffic and incoming-data floods, allowing changes to alarm states or limits and forcing a device reboot. Reachability requires an enabled Infinity network port or physical proximity to a wireless access point; effects are bounded to device-setting changes, reboot, and lost network functionality.
