Application crash via oversized server name

Denial of service in HHD Software Device Monitoring Studio 8.10.00.8925 allows local users to crash the application via a server name. The Connect to New Server dialog accepts a server name or address containing 1,000 repeated characters without rejecting its length, causing the process to crash. Access to the Windows desktop and interactive use of the Tools menu are required; the demonstrated consequence is an application crash.
