Unrestricted file upload in PhreeSoft PhreeBooks ERP 5.2.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code through Image Manager. The authenticated image manager upload action accepts a .php3 file without extension controls and stores it under the web-accessible myFiles/images path. A valid application account is required; requesting the uploaded file executes attacker-supplied commands with the web server's privileges.
