CVE-2019-25617Public exploit

Application crash via oversized MP4 buffer

Published Mar 22, 2026 · Updated Mar 22, 2026

Denial of service in Ease Audio Converter 5.30 allows local attackers to crash the application through a malformed MP4 file. The Audio Cutter processes a file of 6,000 repeated bytes as MP4 input without rejecting the oversized buffer, which terminates the application. Exploitation requires local access to load the crafted file in Audio Cutter and invoke the cut operation; the demonstrated consequence is an application crash, with no documented code execution or data impact.
